About Sara Barrera, MA, LCSW, PMH-C
You may be wondering, “Is Sara the right therapist for me?”
Finding a therapist can be a tough process. Here are a few things you should know about me:
I will provide a nonjudgmental space. You are so much more than the things that have happened to you or the decisions you’ve made.
I am a lifelong learner. I love reading the latest therapy books & attending trainings so I can always bring my best to my clients.
I am affirming of all gender identities and specialize in addressing intergenerational trauma and multicultural experiences.
I provide virtual sessions and will soon be offering in-person therapy on Chicago’s northside.
Change isn’t easy, even when it’s “good”.
